1987 911 Turbo Coupe
'87 was a great vintage, and this 930 was ripe for the picking
3.3-liter 930 Turbos had quite the long run as they were sold from model year 1978 all the way through model year 1989 with slight changes year over year. For the 1987 model year H series cars, the 930 included a modified tail reflector strip that incorporated the fog and reverse lights, fully electric seats as standard, and improved brakes with bevelled vents to assist with cooling.
This 1987 911 Turbo Coupe is finished in Black with 16” Black-centered Fuchs alloy wheels over a Black leather interior and shows just 55,000 miles on the odometer. The car featured great options with Sport Seats and a Limited-slip Differential and is presented in excellent condition as evidenced by hundreds of detailed photos in the gallery. Also included in the gallery were paint meter readings with the white glove treatment and a stack of service invoices for a very well-presented car.
Average prices for 3.3-liter Coupes have remained fairly steady at around $148,000 with later 1987 examples even stronger at an average of ~$180,000 over the last twelve months. Our Spotlight car sold at a final bid of $201,010, which is the third highest bid we’ve seen all year for any 3.3-liter Turbo over 40,000 miles, only beaten by an ‘89 Coupe with 56k on the clock and another ‘87 finished in a stunning shade of Blue. Well sold but the seller put in the work to get the price. Congrats.
