1993 911 Carrera 4 Jubilee Edition
Is now the time to buy Porsche's 30th Anniversary 911?
The 1993 911 Jubilee Edition, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the iconic 911, was a limited-production model with only 911 units produced. Distinguished by its unique colors - Viola Metallic, Amethyst, and a few in Polar Silver - the Jubilee Edition featured a Turbo-look wide body without a rear spoiler, giving it a sleek yet powerful presence. Inside, it offered a luxurious leather interior with exclusive touches like embossed Porsche Crests, unique seat stitching, and “911 30 Jahre” badging on the dashboard and door sills.
This 1993 911 Carrera 4 Coupe 30th Anniversary Jubilee Edition is number 61 out of the 911 built. Originally a German-market example, it is finished in Viola Metallic over Rubicon Gray and shows 137,000 km (~85k miles) on the odometer. Imported by the seller in 2024, the car appears to be in very good condition and comes with hundreds of detailed photos in the gallery including paint meter readings (the car was resprayed) and the results of a recent PPI.
Average prices for Carrera 4 widebodies hovered around the $200k over the last few years, but only one example has sold above that mark so far in 2024. After a number of no-sales the past few months, our Spotlight car sold at a final bid of $175,000. A few years ago, we had a number of comps in the $190k range, but it looks like a softer market and paintwork kept this one a bit lower. Fair deal for a nice looking example.
