1993 911 Turbo 3.6

Location, location, location

The 1993 964 Turbo 3.6 stands out for its exceptional performance, featuring a 3.6-liter flat-six engine that produces 360 horsepower and propels the car from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.0 seconds. Its rarity, with only about 1,500 units produced, further enhances its desirability among collectors and enthusiasts, making it a sought-after model in Porsche’s air-cooled Turbo lineup.

This German-market 1993 911 Turbo 3.6 is finished in Midnight Blue Pearl over a Carrera Grey Special Leather interior with Dark Rootwood trim and shows 154,000km (~95k miles) on the odometer. Offered out of Germany, the car comes with a pile of service records as well as paint meter readings in the photo gallery and original owner’s manual.

The Midnight Blue Pearl paint appears to be in nice condition, although I would want to see more detailed photos of the front hood and bumper of the car. On the inside, the Carrera Grey leather looks like it could use a good cleaning but the engine bay and undercarriage are very clean. The seller notes that the rear light assembly was recently replaced and the car comes with a ton of service records.

At ~95,000 miles, this example is the highest mileage 3.6 Turbo we’ve seen in the last twelve months. The closest comp was a 69,000-mile example that sold for $320,000 in December of last year and the lowest price paid for a 3.6 was $240,000 for a 51,000-mile example in the same month. Our Spotlight car failed to sell at a final bid of $220,000. With its high milage, interior, and the fact that it was being sold out of Germany, I think we were right there price-wise. If I were the seller, I’d clean it up a bit and see what I could do at a catalog sale in Europe this summer.
