1994 911 Carrera 4 Widebody 5-Speed
A great deal for a fat-bottomed 911
The Porsche 964 Carrera 4 Widebody seamlessly blended the aggressive “Turbo Look” - featuring flared arches and a wider stance - with an advanced all-wheel-drive system inspired by the legendary 959. While quite a few Carrera 4s were built, only 267 factory widebody examples made their way to the North American market, making them highly sought-after cars today.
This 1994 911 Carrera 4 Widebody 5-Speed is finished in Grand Prix White over a Classic Gray leather interior and shows 58,000 miles on the odometer. Even with some miles on the odometer, the car looks to be in excellent condition with hundreds of detailed photos in the gallery including even paint meter readings, and plenty of service records.
Over the last twelve months, 964 Carrera 4 Widebodys have had a rough go of it with only two out of the seven cars on offer finding homes, with the two that sold both being 30th Anniversary ‘Jubilee’ Editions. The first example sold at a final bid of $200,964 in January and had 92,000 km (~57k miles) on the odometer. The second, with a much higher 137,000 km (~85k miles), sold at a final bid of $175,000 in November. Our Spotlight car was on the lower mileage side, and sold at a final bid of $197,000. And while not a Jubilee, it was a great example that was well documented in what was one of the best listings I’ve seen. I’d have to say well bought here.
