1994 911 Turbo 3.6 S Package
A big bid for a big-time 964 Turbo

As 964 Turbo production came to an end, Porsche sent the 93 remaining chassis off to Porsche Exclusive to be hand built into 964 Turbo 3.6 S. Of those 93, the majority were fitted with a Slant Nose up front, but 17 bound for the US were fitted with the standard 964 front. Thus the “Package” cars were born.
This 1994 911 Turbo S 3.6 was one such Package car. Originally sold new by Park Place Porsche, this Package car came finished in Grand Prix White over a Classic Grey Full Leather interior and now shows 14,000 miles on the odometer. With just 14,000 miles on the odometer, the car looks to be in very nice condition although the listing is void of any paint meter readings or service history.
Over the last five years, there have only been 10 other Package cars auctioned. Our Spotlight car accounts for almost half, having crossed the block now four times. The first time we saw this car was in March of 2022 when it sold for $1,105,000 at RM Sotheby’s Amelia auction. It failed to sell the following two times with the highest bid at $990,000, and it failed to sell yet again, this time at $964,000. A cheeky bid, but I’m sure the owner is holding out for a one followed by two commas.
