1997 911 Carrera 4S
Factory Aerokit won the day
Porsche’s 993 Carrera 4S has garnered quite the cult following over the years, and as such, prices have followed suit. The reason for the cars iconic status is that it is an exceptional blend of N/A performance with Turbo design thanks to its wider body, more powerful brakes, and advanced suspension system, all taken from Porsche’s 911 Turbo.
This 1997 911 Carrera 4S might look familiar to you, or at least its background, as this car was withdrawn from The White Collection sale last year. As with most cars from the collection, this one is of course finished in Glacier White over a Black leather interior and shows just 12,757 miles on the odometer. The car has been equipped from the factory with extended leather, Aerokit, Racing Style Sport Seats, and Sports Suspension for almost $20,000 in additional options.
Even after the post-COVID pop, the market for 993 C4S has steadily climbed with average prices approaching $140,000 today. While we still see the occasional sub-$100k car, highs can reach above the $250,000 mark and even higher with two cars cresting just over $300k in the last twelve months. Our Spotlight car hammered at a final bid of $260,000. A solid price thanks to its factory Aerokit.
