2003 911 Turbo Coupe 6-Speed X50

Was the X50 package enough to put this one higher than its last run?

Making its debut on the 993, Porsche’s X50 package was the first formalized factory performance package that could be ordered directly with a car as previous performance upgrades were handled by Porsche Exclusive. It was fairly rare at first as not many 993 Turbo owners ticked the box, but became much more common on the next generation 996 Turbo, where the X50 package offered larger K24 turbos, enhanced intercoolers, optimized ECU programming, and a quad-pipe exhaust system, increasing power to 450 horses and torque to 457 lb-ft.

This 2003 911 Turbo Coupe 6-Speed was equipped from the factory with said X50 package and shows 69,000 miles on the odometer. Finished in Slate Grey Metallic over a Black leather interior, this Turbo looked to be in fairly decent condition with paint noted on the roof and hood along with the replacement of the front spoiler. The car rides on 18” Sport Techno wheels and while it was originally equipped with PCCB brakes, but has been modified with steel rotors. Other modifications include a Rennline strut tower brace, RUF/Bilstein coilovers, GT3-style front lower control arms, adjustable anti-roll bars, GIAC ECU tune, Milltek exhaust, and forged diverter valves. Included with the sale was the original window sticker, service records, and recent DME report.

Over the past twelve months 996 Turbo values have soften a little bit, going from an average price of $65,400 in December of 2023 to $63,900 today. Our Spotlight car previously sold at a final bid of $69,996 back in August of 2022, when the car had 65k on the clock and averages were in the neighborhood of $61,400. It sold this time around at a final bid of $66,759. Fair deal for today’s market.
