Introduced in 1999 as a homologation model for cars entered the FIA’s GT3 racing category, the 996 GT3 was the first of the most sought-after 911s you can buy today. Initially not offered for sale in the US, we received the updated 996.2 version for the 2004 model year.

This 996.2 GT3 is finished in Black paint over Black full leather and features a whole host of upgrades. On the outside, the car features orange decals, painted mirrors, an orange rear wing, and 18” wheels painted in, you guessed it, orange. Inside, the Orange theme continues with an orange-painted center console, dashboard trim, and DAS Sport roll bar.

With 67,000 miles on the odometer, the car has a binder full of service history, including a rebuild of the transmission and limited-slip differential in 2012 and a Cargraphic muffler installed in 2014.

The market for 996.2 GT3s has been on a steady rise since popping in 2021, with average prices over $105,000. The drop-off for cars under $100k over the last twelve months has been around 30k miles, which makes this example very well sold at $100k.
