2004 911 Turbo Cabriolet 6-Speed
Low mileage, but a a bit of an uh-oh place this one about average

With 930 Turbo Cabriolets being such a success for Porsche, I find it odd that “production” Turbo Cabs. were absent from Porsche’s lineup until the launch of the 996 Turbo Cabriolet for 2004. Sure, Porsche did build 6 964 Turbo Cabs and 14 993s, but they were far from “production” as they were built for only a handful of customers by Porsche’s Special Wishes Department.
This 2004 911 Turbo Cabriolet 6-Speed comes from its original owner and was finished in Guards Red over a Black leather interior. It showed 29,000 miles on the odometer and came optioned from the factory with plenty of Exclusive Options such as a Thicker Steering Wheel, Sport Shifter, Guards Red Seat Belts, and Deviated Stitching. And while it came with service records, Porsche detailing kit, and convertible accessories, it also came with a “severe” accident on the CarFax from the results of a front & side impact. Ouch.
Over the past twelve months, 996 Turbo Cabs have averaged just below the $60,000 mark, hovering between $58-59,000. Cars between 30-40,000 miles have ranged from a low of $60,500 to a high of $71,000 for an example finished in Carmon Red Metallic. Our Spotlight car sold at a final bid of $60,000, which while a low for the mileage range, wasn’t the lowest price paid for an example under 40k miles as another Carmon Red Metallic example with just 18k was STOLEN earlier this year. Fair price considering the CarFax.
