2006 Boxster
Second-gen Boxster prices looking pretty attractive

The 987.1 Boxster brought significant upgrades over its predecessor, the 986, with sharper, more aggressive styling and modern oval headlights, which separated the Boxster’s look from not only the previous generation, but also the 911. Inside, it featured a more refined and ergonomic interior with upgraded materials and a sleeker design. Performance was enhanced as well with more powerful flat-six engines, including Variocam Plus on the S model, and improved suspension geometry. A perfect blend of power, luxury, and handling to move the Boxster platform forward.
This 2006 Boxster was finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Black leather and showed just 45,000 miles on the odometer. Options were light with just a Tiptronic transmission and a few other boxes checked, but it does have a not-often-seen hard top. The gallery provided plenty of detailed images including paint meter readings and recent service, with a more comprehensive service history found on the clean & clear CarFax. A nice base Boxster.
Honestly, I’ve been so focused on sub-$10k 986 Boxsters that I’ve completely overlooked 987s. When did these get sub $20k!? Apparently, Tips have been there for quite some time as average prices have hovered just under $20,000 for the past few years. Our Spotlight car sold at a final bid of $16,750. A fair deal considering it’s lack of options, but a VERY nice example for the money. The buyer will enjoy this one.
