Records were meant to be... crushed

Well, it looks like it didn’t take long for the 997.1 GT3 RS record to be broken. And while the previous Green example to break the record just beat the former previous record by $5,997, our Spotlight car demolished the $395,997 paid for that car just sixteen days ago.
Finished in Green with Black RS graphics over a Black leather and Alcantara interior, this one-owner 2007 911 GT3 RS looked fairly similar to the one I featured a few weeks ago, and in fact, was brought to market by the same seller, our friends over at Motive Archive. But the similarities stop there. This example’s interior remained stock and it showed just 868 miles on the odometer. A unicorn among unicorns.
The previous car showed 7,000 miles on the odometer, which wasn’t the lowest we’ve seen by far in the last five years. But 868, yeah, that’s the lowest, and it helped push this one to a final bid of $498,000. Congrats to both the seller, and the buyer, as now you have “the one.” That is unless Motive Archive pulls a sub-100-mile example out of nowhere in the next two weeks.
