2010 911 GT3
It pays to provide more than 5 paint meter readings
The 997.2 GT3 builds on its predecessor’s legacy with significant upgrades, making it even more faster and more refined. It features a larger 3.8-liter flat-six, delivering 435 hp, compared to the 997.1’s 3.6-liter engine with 415 hp, offering enhanced power and performance. the suspension and chassis were also improved, with Porsche’s Active Suspension Management (PASM) and the introduction of dynamic engine mounts, which increased agility and cornering precision. Externally, the 997.2 received refined aerodynamics, including a redesigned front fascia, larger air intakes, and a more prominent rear wing, all contributing to better cooling and increased downforce for superior track performance.
This 2010 911 GT3 is finished in Black over Black leather & Alcantara and shows 18,000 miles on the odometer. It was equipped from the factory with Sound Package Plus, Sport Chrono Package, and Xenon headlights. On the outside the car shows nicely but only a handful of paint meter readings left more questions about paintwork than they answered. The inside is just as nice and the car has been serviced regularly as seen by the pile of records in the gallery. While the car was originally a US-example, it is located in Canada currently, but easily imported back.
After a sharp rise from the beginning of 2020 from an average of just over $100,000 to over $163,000 by the end of 2022, 997.2 GT3s have started to slowly climb over the last few years as they sit at about $170,000 today. Over the last twelve months, comps in the mileage range have just touched the $200k mark with a recent sale of another 18k-mile example hammering at $198,000 last month. Our Spotlight car sold at a final bid of $173,500, which, when you factor in questions around paint and Canadian registration, seems about right.
