2011 911 GT3 RS

The RS market continues to rise with this excellent example leading the way

The 997.2 GT3 RS was more than a mere facelift of the outgoing model as the new RS featured a bump in power, bringing its 3.8-liter flat-six to a total output of 450 hp. The car also included lower weight, shorter gear ratios, and upgraded body and suspension components, making this quite the upgrade over the dot-one it replaced.

This 2011 911 GT3 RS is one of only 541 US examples and is finished in Carrera White with Red accents and wheels over Black leather and Alcantara. With 15,000 miles, the car comes optioned with a Front Axle Lift, Sound Package Plus, Full Leather, PCM Navigation, and plenty of Carbon Fiber in the interior.

I’ve seen this car in person on numerous visits to Jack Daniels Porsche in New Jersey and can attest that it is in excellent condition, as evident in the photos provided in the gallery. The Carrera White paint meters evenly, and the interior is flawless. The undercarriage and engine bay are just as clean as the top side, and the CarFax shows plenty of recent service history—an excellent example of a special car.

The 997.2 RS market has been flat over the last six months after a steady rise from early 2021 onward. But at a selling price of $291,000, this dot-two has become the highest price paid for an un-modified example over 10,500 miles in the last five years. Still, I don’t think the buyer overpaid here, as these don’t come around that often. Both parties should be happy here.
