2011 911 GT3 RS 4.0
The GOAT keeps on bringing GOAT numbers

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 is the ultimate evolution of the 997-generation GT3. Limited to just over 600 units worldwide, this track-focused masterpiece is powered by a 4.0-liter flat-six—the largest naturally aspirated engine ever fitted to a 911—producing 500 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and 340 lb-ft of torque at 5,750 rpm. Derived from Porsche’s race cars, it utilizes a crankshaft from the GT3 RSR and titanium connecting rods for uncompromising performance as well as extensive use of lightweight materials, including carbon fiber body panels and plastic rear windows. As the last Mezger-powered 911, the GT3 RS 4.0 stands as a high-revving tribute to Porsche’s motorsport heritage.
This 2011 911 GT3 RS 4.0 came finished in Carrara White with Silver & Red RS 4.0 graphics over a Black leather and Red Alcantara interior and showed 4,000 miles on the odometer. It came optioned from the factory with its wheels painted in black, front axle lift, sound package plus, and sport chrono package for an original MSRP of $192,855. The car looked to be in good condition inside and out with paint meter readings and a DME report in the gallery.
Only one other GT3 RS 4.0 has crossed the block here in the US in the last twelve months, a 144-mile Carrara White example that hammered for $811,000 back in November. Looking further back, we see comps with similar mileage in the $720-735,000 range, so for this example to sell at a final bid of $749,000, it means one thing, these are continuing to perform. But is that really news to anyone? The GOAT 🐐.
