2011 911 GT3 RS
All the money for an RS, but it wasn't enough

As one of the final cars to feature the legendary Mezger flat-six, Porsche’s 997.2 GT3 RS is celebrated as one of the most visceral and engaging sports cars ever built by the company. Producing 444 horsepower and revving to 8,500 RPM, this track-focused weapon was offered only with a 6-speed manual transmission and featured adjustable suspension components, dynamic engine mounts, and lightweight components such as aluminum doors, and a polycarbonate rear window. The stuff legends are made of.
This 2011 911 GT3 RS came finished in Grey Black with Red accents and wheels over a Black leather interior and showed just 1,300 miles on the odometer. It came optioned from the factory with PCCB brakes along with Front Axle Lift, Deviated Stitching, Carbon-Illuminated Door Guards, and Sport Chrono Package. With such low mileage, the car looks as expected and comes with service records from current and previous ownership along with its original window sticker, books, and both keys. A superb low-mileage example.
After a meteoric rise from the beginning of 2020 when average prices were around $125,000, averages have settled around the $260,000 mark over the last twelve months with a five-year high of $412,000 for a 490-mile example back in December of 2023. With a flat market since that high, one wouldn’t expect our Spotlight car to top that number as it has about 1,000 more miles on the clock. But it looks like our seller did, as they didn’t take the final bid of $410,000. All the money, in my opinion.
