2011 911 Speedster

Great color, but how much does the fact these were all PDK affect the potential upside?

Aside from the uber-rare 993 Speedster, of which only two exist (depending on who you ask), the 997 Speedster is the rarest of the bunch with only 356 examples built. With it’s gorgeous low-slung looks, the 997 Speedster was equipped with the 407 hp GTS engine and was only offered with a PDK transmission.

This 2011 911 Speedster is number #172 of the 356 built and is finished in Pure Blue over a Black and Pure Blue leather interior. The car currently shows just 3,300 miles on the odometer and the only option box checked was for XM Radio.

The Pure Blue paint is in excellent condition, shows even paint meter readings all around, and has PPF film applied to the leading edge of the front. On the inside, the Black and Pure Blue leather look amazing along with the frunk, engine bay, and the undercarriage as evidenced by the hundreds of detailed photos in the gallery. The only thing missing are service records other than the handful listed on the CarFax.

Since 2022, 997 Speedster prices have been fairly stable, with averages hovering just above the $300,000 mark with a twelve-month high of $428,500 for the 275-mile example sold at The White Collection and a low of $256,000 for a 6,782-mile Pure Blue example that sold in August of last year.

2024 has been fairly rough on the Speedster as only two of the six cars on offer have found homes. Unfortunately, our Spotlight car has become the latest to go unsold as it failed to sell at a final bid of $275,997. Pretty much right in line with bids on comps with similar mileage. Probably should have taken the money on this one as I believe this is where these will be for a while.
