2014 911 50th Anniversary Edition

Almost a new twelve-month high

Built to celebrate 50 years since the launch of the 911 in 1964, the 911 50th Anniversary Edition was a fitting tribute featuring “throw-back” details such as Fuchs-inspired wheels and Pepita seat inserts. Other gifts from Porsche for their 50th include an X51 Powerkit bumping horsepower 30 over the standard Carrera S, along with a Sport Chrono Package and a Sport Exhaust system. The car was available in Geyser Grey, which is specific to the 50th, as well as Graphite Grey and Basalt Black.

This 2014 911 50th Anniversary Edition is finished in the darker Graphite Grey over Black leather with Pepita seat inserts and shows just 6,000 miles on the odometer. Additional equipment includes PDLS headlights, PDK transmission, BOSE, and more for an MSRP of $136,895.

The exterior shows in very nice condition, although it has had paintwork on the front and rear bumpers as well as the passenger side door from a minor collision that’s listed on the CarFax. The interior is in excellent condition, as is the undercarriage and engine bay, but the car only shows one service record since new.

The market for 50th Anniversary 911s is very spec dependent, with Geyser Grey over Pepita examples typically bringing a premium. Remove the Pepita, and prices drop. But mileage, as it should, trumps all, with this low-mileage Pepita-clad example selling at a final bid of $148,000, second only to a 13k-mile Geyser Grey over Pepita car that sold over the summer for $165,500.
