2014 911 GT3
But what about the engine?

Introduced in 2023, the 991.1 GT3 marked a significant evolution over the car it replaced with its 3.8-liter flat-six producing 475 horsepower and an 8,500 RPM redline. The car also saw the introduction of rear-wheel steering for enhanced agility and stability and exclusive use of a 7-speed PDK transmission, which turned out to be a controversial move for the brand. Along with the car being PDK-only, early production models suffered from engine issues, particularly with connecting rod bolts, which led to catastrophic failures. And while Porsche addressed this with a recall and 10-year warranty, the issue is still top of mind for those considering hopping into an early 991.1 GT3.
This 2014 911 GT3 came finished in White over a Black leather and Alcantara interior and showed an impressive 30,800 miles on the odometer. The car came equipped with Black-painted wheels, extended range fuel tank, and SportDesign steering wheel from the factory, and featured a GMG Racing exhaust muffler and aftermarket roll cage. But what about the engine? Well, in January 2021, the engine was replaced at 26,153 miles with a G serial number.
Since peaking at an average price of $136,000 in the summer of 2023, 991.1 GT3 prices have been on a downward trend with averages sitting at $120,000 today, and average prices for 2014s at $108,000. While I’ve been waiting for these to drop below the $100,000 mark now that warranties are up, it wasn’t the case for this GT3 as it sold at a final bid of $116,498 thanks to that new G-serial engine sitting out back.
