2016 911 Carrera GTS Club Coupe
A solid sale for a Porsche rarity
For the Porsche Club of America’s 60th anniversary celebration, they followed along in the footsteps of their 50th by releasing the special 2016 911 Carrera GTS Club Coupe. Finished in the distinct Club Blau paint, the exterior also featured SportDesign bodywork as well as a ducktail rear spoiler and 20” Sport Classic wheels. Other options as standard on the Club Coupe included a Powerkit that increased power to 430 horsepower, PASM Sport Suspension, and Sport Chrono Package. Limited to just 60 units and only offered through a public lottery to PCA members, the Club Coupe is a rare and beautiful example of Porsche’s 991.
This 2016 911 Carrera GTS Club Coupe was purchased by the seller in January of this year and shows 7,660 miles on the odometer. It has been modified with clear taillights and side markers and has paint protection film installed on the front clip as well as other high-impact areas around the car. The car looked to be in very nice condition and comes with a pile of service records pictured in the listing.
With almost 8,000 miles on the odometer, our Spotlight car is one of the highest mileage examples we’ve seen over the last five years. But that didn’t seem to matter as it sold at a final bid of $150,000, beating lower mileage comps sold over the last few years and selling at only $12,500 less than the five year high brought by a 2,900-mile Club Coupe in August of last year. A strong sale, but I think these still have room to grow as they are super limited, and super cool.
