2017 911 Carrera 4S Coupe

Just a normal 911 doing normal 911 things

Bowing at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, the refreshed 991.2 received a mid-cycle facelift with updated front and rear bumpers, dual exhaust pipes, and new headlight and tail lights. But the big news for the dot-two was the all-new twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter flat-six engine powering the 911 across the entire range, not just the vaunted Turbo models.

This 2017 911 Carrera 4S Coupe is finished in Agate Grey Metallic over Black leather and shows 32,000 miles on the odometer. It is well-optioned with Porsche’s Sport Chrono Package, PDLS+ headlights, Sport Exhaust, ParkAssist, Heated & Ventilated Adaptive Sport Seats, and more.

Overall, the car presents well in the photo gallery, showing minimal signs of wear. The CarFax shows no accidents, although it is noted that the rear bumper cover has been repainted. As far as other paintwork goes, the gallery lacks paint meter readings. However, it includes numerous recent service receipts from San Rafael-based S Car Go Racing with a longer service history on the CarFax report.

The 991.2 4S market surged post-COVID, topping out in the spring of 2022 with a five-year high at $125,000. It’s been downhill since then, with average prices dropping about 15% over the last eighteen months. At 32,000 miles, our Spotlight car isn’t the highest mileage example we’ve seen, even in the previous few months. But its sales price of $85,500 is the lowest price fetched in the last five years. No fault of the car, although the listing could have been more complete. These are just signs of a market returning to normalcy, with your average 911 depreciating.
