2018 911 Carrera T 7-Speed Safari

This 991 Safari finally gets the bid it deserves

I’ve featured a number of Safari builds over the years, but only one 991.2 Carrera T Safari, as most Safari examples are typically older 911s. But this 2018 911 Carrera T 7-Speed has been extensively modified with a custom light bar, roof rack, and rear bumper guard, adjustable coilovers, a DSC Sport V3 controller, GT3 lower control arms, custom caster bushings, Elephant Racing spherical top hats, Delrin suspension bushings, Tarett Engineering caliper studs, SOUL Performance catalytic converters, an IPD intake plenum, a center-mounted radiator, AMS Performance intercoolers, APR diverter valves, a Base Engineering ECU tune, and custom Rotiform wheels with BF Goodrich KO2 tires. Quite the build!

From the factory, this 18,200-mile T sported White paint over a Black Full Leather interior with Guards Red stitching, seatbelts, and instrument dials. Other options included Carbon Buckets, Porsche’s Light Design Package, and BOSE, and didn’t include rear seats or a sunroof, just as a T should.

Putting a price on this one is a bit difficult as we not only haven’t seen other 991.2 Safaris, but we haven’t seen any highly modified examples either. Had this been your standard Carrera T, I would have expected a final bid somewhere in the $90,000 neighborhood due to miles. But it sold at an impressive $136,000, beating out it’s previous bid of $126,500 in July of last year. Well sold.
