2020 Taycan Turbo S

Holy depreciation, Batman

After getting behind the wheel of a Taycan Turbo S, I can honestly say that Porsche builds the best electric car on the planet. With 750 horsepower with overboost, the rate of acceleration is just mental and pins you to the seat with instant torque. No matter what side of the electric car debate you stand on, it’s worth taking a few pulls in one of these beasts.

This 2020 Taycan Turbo S is a first-year example finished in Dolomite Silver over a Basalt Black interior. Factory equipment includes the Premium Package, the SportDesign Package in Carbon Fiber, 21-inch Mission E Design wheels, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control Sport, Olea Club leather upholstery, and more for a total MSRP of $222,570.

With only 16,700 miles on the odometer, the Dolomite Silver paint shows very little in the way of wear. Nothing more than some small chips and scratches and a ding on the front splitter. On the inside, the Basalt Black interior is in very good condition, although I would have probably run a vacuum in the footwells before taking pictures. 🤷‍♂️ Overall, a very nice example with low miles, service history, and no damage.

Like every other electric car on the market, the Taycan isn’t immune to depreciation. But when I saw that this $222,570, 16,700-mile, no issue Taycan Turbo S sold at a final bid of $88,500, I just couldn’t wrap my head around it. That’s a $134k loss in four years. 🤯 I don’t think you can get more car for the money than that. Well bought.
