2022 911 GT3 6-Speed
This PTS 6-speed sold close to MSRP. How much longer until they are under?
In the first six months of 2022, 992 GT3s were trading in the $275,000 to $300,000 range, with PTS and well-optioned cars with Exclusive Options commanding the upper range. Over the last six months, those $300,000 cars are topping out around $275k and getting lower with each passing sale, as this 2022 911 GT3 6-speed with 350 miles shows.
Finished in Paint-to-Sample Irish Green, our Spotlight car is equipped with Black leather and Race-Tex with GT Silver stitching, PCCB brakes, Front Axle Lift System, PDLS+ headlights, BOSE, Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, and more for a total MSRP of $208,130. It sold at a high bid of $241,000, with margins for flippers getting slimmer and slimmer. And when you factor in sales tax, like the 7.5% rate the California-based seller had to pay, they walked away with only $15,600. Wouldn’t you rather have a GT3 than $15k?
All other trim/transmission styles of 992 GT3s are doing the same. 6-speed Touring cars held on the longest, as we haven’t seen a $300k+ sale since this summer, with the most recent sale being $260,000 for a 41-mile example. PDK-equipped Touring cars haven’t seen $300k since September last year, and PDK-winged examples started falling below $300k almost immediately in 2022.
Now, with barely camouflaged 992.2s hitting the streets, the facelift is upon us, which means a new GT3 is on the horizon. I expect prices to continue to creep down with sales prices of MSRP and below imminent for winged cars and not too far off for Tourings.
