2022 911 GT3 6-speed

New lows for the 992 GT3 market

It was a rough day for 992 GT3s as two cars on offer sold at the bottom of the market as prices inched closer to MSRP. The first was this 2022 911 GT3 6-speed finished in White over Black leather and Race-Tex with Guards Red stitching and 2,100 miles on the odometer. It was optioned with Porsche’s Front Axle Lift System, Carbon Fiber Roof, Extended Leather, and Full Bucket Seats with an MSRP of $198,170. It sold at a final bid of $228,000 and represented the second-lowest sale we’ve seen.

And then there was this 2022 911 GT3 6-speed. Finished in Chalk over Black leather and Race-Tex with GT Silver stitching, this example had a low 619 miles on the odometer. With an MSRP of $181k, it was very lightly optioned save for the Satin Neodyme wheels and Lizard Green accents on the inside. It sold at a final bid of $225,000, tying the lowest price paid for a 6-speed GT3 at auction and setting a new low for a car with less than 1,000 miles.

While missing key options such as Front Axle Lift, Full Buckets, and PCCBs, this wasn’t the first car we’ve seen lacking such options, so I don’t think that excuse flies anymore. This is just a plain old case of a market softening, and I expect we’ll see new lows over the next few months.
