2022 911 Targa 4 GTS Edition 50 Years Porsche Design

Did we have the first 50 Years Porsche Design sale of 2024?

Limited to only 750 units, the Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS Edition 50 Years Porsche Design celebrates the 50th anniversary of the luxury lifestyle brand founded by “Butzi” Porsche. This exclusive edition stands out with its distinctive Black exterior and Satin Platinum accents, unique interior with a checkered pattern, and special badging, setting it apart from the standard Targa 4 GTS.

This 2022 911 Targa 4 GTS Edition 50 Years Porsche Design shows just 1,500 miles on the odometer and is in showroom-new condition, as evidenced by plenty of pictures in the gallery. The car includes its original window sticker as well as an exclusive, limited-edition Porsche Design watch celebrating the release of the car.

The market for Porsche Design Targas was fairly flat through 2023 with a handful of example sold around the $225,000 mark. 2024 hasn’t been kind to these as all three examples to cross the block this year have failed to sell at bids ranging from $190,500 to $206,000.

Our Spotlight car sold at a final bid of $217,999, and $228,899 all-in with Sotheby’s Buyer’s Fee, which puts it up there slightly above 2023 numbers. Nice to see one finally sell as it looks like all is not lost when it comes to these special cars.
