2022 Boxster 25 Years 6-Speed
The special edition celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Boxster just never seemed to take off

Limited to just 1,250 units worldwide, Porsche’s 718 Boxster 25 Years is a special edition based on the GTS 4.0 model built to celebrate, you guessed it, 25 years since the debut of the Boxster. Styling on the 25 Years edition consists of special Neodyne wheels harking back to the original concept car’s 5-spoke design and Neodyne accents on the front spoiler and side air intakes.
The inside is trimmed in Bordeaux leather and includes an Aluminum interior package, Sports Seats, and “Boxster 25” lettering on the door sill trim. Marking this as a special edition is rear badging, “Boxster 25” embossed on the red soft top, and dash plaque.
Our Spotlight car, this 2022 Boxster 25 Years 6-speed, is finished in Jet Black Metallic with its soft top in Black and has only 1,400 miles on the odometer. It has some very nice additional options as well, including PASM Sport Suspension, Adaptive Sport Seats Plus with Ventilation, Extended Deviated Stitching, and Premium Package giving it a $110,600 sticker.
As you would expect for such a low-milage, one-owner car, it is presented in excellent condition inside and out, aside from a small ding behind the driver’s door. It has its original window sticker, books, keys, and a clean CarFax.
Unlike other recent special editions, the 718 Boxster 25 Years market never took off, only trading at just over MSRP early on and then softening almost instantly, with most auctions ending with a no-sale. Our Spotlight car sold at a final bid of $93,333, making this the first sub-$100k sale to date. I wouldn’t call this well-bought, though, as several previous no-sales have ended at bids below the $100k mark. This is market-correct and a price both parties should be happy with.
