2023 911 GT3 6-speed Manthey Performance Kit

Why didn't this GT3 bring "Manthey Money?"

Manthey Racing, headquartered in Meuspath near the Nurburgring-Nordschleife, was founded in 1996 by racing driver Olaf manthey. In 2013, Manthey merged his company with Raeder Automotive GmbH, and Porsche AG acquired a 51% majority stake, solidifying their successful collaboration. Under the management of co-owners nicolas and Martin Raeder, Manthey Racing manages the Porsche 911 RSR in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the 911 GT3 R “Grell” in the Nurburgring Endurance Series and 24-hour races.

But the collaboration between Manthey and Porsche isn’t just about running their factory efforts, Manthey also produces MR kits for Porsche’s road-going GT cars as well. With a package completely developed in-house, Manthey is able to shed seconds off of a GT3’s lap time while keeping the car easy to drive, plus the modified cars are covered under Porsche’s factory warranty.

This 2023 911 GT3 6-speed is fitted with the Manthey Performance kit consisting of revisions to the aerodynamics through a new rear wing, larger front spoiler lip and cannards, modified underbody elements, a larger rear diffuser, and carbon-fiber “aerodiscs” covering the rear wheels. The kit also includes upgraded brake lines and an improved coilover suspension at a cost of $57,000.

The GT Silver Metallic paint on this 1,300-mile example is in very good condition as is the Black leather and Alcantara interior. And while the car does include the optional PCCB brakes and Front Axle Lift System, it does not have the Carbon Buckets. Also included with the sale is an Armytrix exhaust system and original window sticker showing an MSRP of $209,640, which doesn’t include the cost of the Manthey kit.

We’ve seen a few Manthey-equipped cars sell over the last twelve months with the closest comp being a 1,200-mile example that hammered at a final bid of $280,000 back in January of this year. Our Spotlight car failed to sell at a final bid of $235,000, and is now being offered in PCARMARKET’s Deal Tank at a Buy Now of $305,000, which is a bit optimistic considering our comp. But if the seller and a buyer could meet half way, now we’re talking. We shall see.
