A Rare 992 Non-S Turbo Cabriolet

In my travels, I see a lot of new Porsches, and when it comes to the 992 Turbo variants, I see a lot of Turbo S Cabriolets. So much so that I almost forget they make a standard Turbo non-S Cabriolet. It’s the same on the various auction platforms. In fact, only one 992 Turbo Cabriolet has been offered in North America, and that was a Canadian car that failed to sell at a high bid of $165,992 in December of last year.
And it makes sense. The base price for a Turbo Cab. vs. a Turbo S Cab. is only $33,000, and for that extra money, you get a lot more standard equipment as well as 68 more horsepower and a top speed of over 200 mph.
But here we have yet another Canadian 2023 911 Turbo Cabriolet. Finished in White over a Slate Grey full leather interior, this Turbo Cab. has an MSRP of CAD 286,413 (~ USD 260k) and comes equipped with a Front Axle Lift System, Sport Exhaust, Turbo S Exclusive Design Wheels, and a whole host of other options. And with only 888 miles on the odometer, it’s still a new car.
As this is only the second non-S Cabriolet we’ve seen, there’s not much in the way of direct comps. But we did have a pair of 2023 911 Turbo S Cabriolets with delivery miles sell recently, both at $280,000, with one selling for $20k over its original MSRP and the other selling at its original MSRP.
Today’s Spotlight car sold for $187,500, almost $80,000 less than its original MSRP. That’s quite the difference from the recent Turbo S Cabs but in line with our previous high bid for a non-S. Yes, the Turbo S has more power, but for the price difference, I’m looking for a Turbo Cab. Seems like a deal to me.
