2023 Taycan GTS Sport Turismo

Did the return of the electric wagon unseat Sport Turismos as the Taycan to have?

Back in November of last year, it was reported that Porsche was going to discontinue the Sport Turismo version of the Panamera as “American’s just don’t want wagons.” It looked like the Taycan Sport Turismo was going to get the axe as well, until a few days ago, when Porsche launched the new Taycan GTS, which is available as a Sport Turismo. While Taycan prices have been tanking, it’s been the Sport Turismos that have been holding value much better that the sedans, but has that changed now that the electric wagon is back?

This 2023 Taycan GTS Sport Turismo was finished in a stunning Paint-to-Sample Racing Green over a Black and Chalk leather interior. The car showed just 605 miles on the odometer and came equipped from the factory with PSCB brakes with calipers in White, a Panoramic Roof, Premium Package, and a ton of other optional equipment for an original MSRP of $193,710. A lot of money for a Taycan GTS, but oh man, what a spec.

Like I mentioned above, Taycan prices have been taking a nose dive with charts practically pointing straight down. But Sport Turismo examples, on the other hand, have been maintaining their value with a twelve-month high for Taycans being held by another GTS Sport Turismo that hammered at a final bid of $111,000 just last month. But even with the announcement that the wagon version of the Taycan will continue on, Sport Turismos still look to be the one to have as today’s Spotlight car topped our recent high with a final bid of $120,000. Well sold.
