2024 911 S/T

Place your bets. How much over sticker did the first S/T go for?

Drawing inspiration from the race-bred 911 S/T of the ‘70s, Porsche’s modern take combines the subtleness of a GT3 Touring-like look with the not-so-subtleness of a 4.0-liter flat-six from the GT3 RS paired with a 6-Speed manual transmission. If that combination sounds familiar, consider the S/T the 992’s take on the 991’s 911 R, which has held up pretty well in the market.

This 2024 911 S/T is the first example of the 1,963 produced to hit auction. It is finished in Ice Grey Metallic over a Black & GT Silver interior, shows just 245 miles on the odometer, and comes optioned with Front Axle Lift, an Extended Range Fuel Tank, and interior pieces with extra leather, Race-Tex, and Aluminum for an original MSRP of $319,270.

While that MSRP may look high, the base price for an S/T is $290,000, which means that this example is missing a few key options such as Carbon Buckets and the $20k+ Heritage Design Package. So if our Spotlight car sold at a final bid of $602,500, I’d assume a higher-spec would bring almost $650k. But then again, you have to account for the “first car pop.” I’m sure we’ll see plenty over the coming months and the market will find its feet, far above MSRP of course.
