2024 911 Targa 4 GTS 7-Speed

The end of an era for GTS

When predicting future values, I always look at “end of an era” cars as a good place to put your money if you’re looking for gains, or at least to not lose much. With Porsche set to replace the top-of-the-range GTS with a Hybrid powertrain offered only in PDK for the 992.2 GTS, 992.1 GTS with 7-Speed manual transmissions look to become an “end of an era” car.

This 2024 911 Targa 4 GTS 7-Speed came finished in White over a Black and Bordeaux Red interior and showed just 1,400 miles on the odometer. It came well specced with Porsche’s 930 Leather Package, RS Spyder Design wheels, Premium Package,, and Adaptive Sport Seats for an original MSRP of $188,520. Purchased new in September of last year, this GTS is still in as-new condition and even comes with three years of pre-paid maintenance. Not a bad deal if you ask me.

Initially, GTS showed some signs of depreciation through 2023 but flattened out in 2024 as the new Hybrid variant was announced. Prices have averaged about $185,000 though the last two sales have been over $200k. Our Spotlight car failed to sell at a final bid of $187,000, which would have been a little light compared to those recent sales of higher mileage cars, but it sold afterwards at an undisclosed price. I really wish Cars & Bids would let us know the final agreed-upon sales prices, but if I had to guess, it was at or just over the $200k mark.
