2024 911 Turbo S Coupe 000 Commission
A special model built to celebrate the king of the hill

On a rainy morning in June of 2022, driver David Donner, Pete Stout of 000 magazine, and collector Jim Edwards had one goal, to take back the production-car record at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, one Donner held in a 911 Turbo until it was bested by a Bentley in 2019. While the record eluded them on that day, they still managed to finish first in class and second overall in very wet and foggy conditions, and then go on to set the record in a subsequent attempt in September. To celebrate that victory, and record, Porsche Sonderwunsch and 000 magazine created a handful of special edition 992 Turbo S’.
This 2024 911 Turbo S Coupe is one such 000 Commission. Finished in GT Silver Metallic over Black leather, this Turbo S featured Porsche’s Lightweight Package along with laser-etched “000” front grille logo, Carmine Red mirror caps, illuminated door sills plates in matte carbon, a Pikes Peak course map embossed on the center armrest, and a commemorative dashboard inlay. With just 67 miles on the odometer, the car was in impeccable condition and included a set of Brixton Monoblock Forged TR20 1-Piece Lightweight Wheels along with the original Turbo S Exclusive Design wheels.
As you can imagine, I have ZERO comps for this car. But looking at other low-mileage examples, we’ve seen bids in the $213-272,000 range for other sub-1,000-mile cars with the higher bids for cars with fairly impressive stickers. Our Spotlight car had an original MSRP of $237,133, but failed to sell at a final bid of $246,000. I too think it is worth more. Better luck next time.
