How To Sell Your 993 Carrera 4
Today’s Spotlight car, this 1995 911 Carrera 4 Coupe 6-Speed, is an excellent example of how to SELL a car. Finished in Paint to Sample Silver Metallic over Classic Grey partial leather, this example has 98,000 miles. It has 17” Cup II wheels and a Porsche Classic Communication Management System head unit.
From over 100 detailed photos, you can see that this car has been very well kept, showing just minor wear from regular use and imperfections pointed out in the description. While the car does indicate an accident on the CarFax, the repair is noted in the description, and paint meter readings are provided in the documents.
Mechanically, as documented in the invoice file, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better-sorted car with over $60,000 in maintenance and upgrades under current ownership. Service includes a top-end rebuild and clutch replacement at 88,000 miles and a complete transmission rebuild at 98k. I’d venture to say that this 993 truly does need nothing.
And all that work paid off as this car brought $70,993 yesterday on Hagerty’s auction site. A peak for the mileage, the price paid here would have even been a peak for a more valuable Carrera 2. It shows that putting in the effort regarding your listing pays off. Well sold, Ray.
