THE MARKET
Sell-Through Rate: 75%
Market Volume ($): $575,300
Market Volume (Units): 16
Even with a decent amount of units and a sell-through rate in the mid-70s, we were fairly light on dollar volume thanks to only one car selling over $100k.

SPOTLIGHT
This 2007 911 GT3 comes finished in a classic combination of GT Silver Metallic over Black Leather. It features options such as Porsche’s Sport Chrono Package, Sound Package Plus, and Adaptive Sports Seats. The car also comes with a few modifications not from the factory: HRE wheels, H&R lowering springs, and welded Shark Works coolant hoses. With 20,000 miles on the clock, our Spotlight car sold for $121,000 yesterday on PCARMARKET.
Just 12 days ago another 997 GT3 sold for $121,000. That car, however, had 73,000 miles on the odometer. So was our Spotlight car the steal of the century? Or was the 73k-mile car extremely well sold?
Looking at the market for GT3s over the past year, the closest example by mileage was a 22,000-mile car that sold for $138,000. The next closest was a 25,000-mile car that sold for $115,000. So our car was at least in the range, but closer to the $115k than the $138k.
That difference probably comes down to the aftermarket parts and the lack of originals accompanying the sale. The car itself was meticulously maintained, presented well with original paint, and included books and keys. Everything you would want…. except the stock wheels and springs. We could live with the aftermarket items, and so can the buyer. Well-bought.
