Quite The Deal On This 1 of 50 997 Club Coupe

Good Morning! After a weekend like we just had, an average day seems a bit disappointing. But although our metrics were average, quite a few of the cars crossing the block were not.

SPOTLIGHT

Unveiled for the 50th anniversary of the Porsche Club of America at the Porsche Parade in Hershey, PA, in 2005, the 997 Club Coupe was very limited and a very difficult-to-acquire car upon its launch in 2006. Of the 50 units produced, the first was transferred to the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart and number 50 was raffled off in a sweepstake to one lucky PCA member. The remaining 48 units were then sold to randomly chosen PCA members in the US and Canada.

The Club Coupe featured beautiful Azurro California paint and featured the X51 Powerkit, 19” SportDesign wheels, a Black full leather interior with Azurro painted trim, and plenty of trim pieces and badges letting you know exactly what you have.

This 2006 911 Club Coupe is #3 out of the 50 and comes from its single owner with only 14,000 miles. On top of the standard features of the Club Coupe, our Spotlight car is optioned with the Aerokit Cup and BOSE sound system. It is presented very well with a clean CarFax history, DME report, and no paintwork verified by paint meter readings. If you had to find one flaw in this car, it would be some small damage to the sacrificial front lip, but not to worry as the seller included a new one with the sale.

With only 50 cars produced, comps are few and far between. The last Club Coupe to come to market was a 30,500-mile example that sold for $100,250 four months ago and before that, we saw a 15,600-mile example sell for $70,300 two years ago. Our Spotlight car, again with only 14,000 miles, sold for $112,000 yesterday on PCARMARKET. Based on the rarity, the miles, the single ownership, and the extra options, I’d call this one very well-bought.
