Round 2 For This 992 GT3
Good Morning! I swear I didn’t sleep in yesterday morning, keeping you from enjoying SML over a cup of coffee. It turns out our CMS, BeeHiiv, had a delivery issue that affected every newsletter on the platform. Fingers crossed that this one goes out as soon as I hit the send button.
Marketwise, we had some mixed signals yesterday as our dollar volume was fairly high for a Tuesday at over $1.5m while our sell-through rate continued to plummet into the 50s. That dollar volume was certainly helped by a new market peak for a 993 Turbo and a few other $200,000 cars.

It’s a new month, so it feels like it’s about time for a 992 GT3 market update, specifically the 992 GT3 Touring PDK market. While the 6-Speed Touring market has flat-lined over the last few months, the PDK market is another matter.
This 2022 911 GT3 is finished in the launch color of Shark Blue over Black leather and Race-Tex upholstery with 1,300 miles on the odometer. It is optioned with PCCB brakes, Carbon Fiber Roof, Front Axle Lift System, BOSE, and a few other options for an MSRP of $195,070. And if you think this car looks familiar, it is as we last saw this example fail to sell in June 2023 at a high bid of $241,000.
Back then, that was the lowest bid we had seen yet on a PDK-equipped GT3 against a recent comp with 700 more miles that sold for $258,000. But it looks like now the seller wanted it gone as they listed it on Bring a Trailer for no reserve, where it sold at a high bid of $247,000, tying the lowest sale we’ve seen thus far for a similar example. Although it sold on the lowest end of the market, I bet the seller is glad that they didn’t take the last offer and got to put another 100 miles on the car.
