Regarding the hierarchy of 993s, Carrera 4 Cabriolets usually occupy the ladder's bottom rung while cars like that include Turbo, RS, or GT in their name bring the bids. But as we know, the market is full of surprises, especially when it comes to unique specs.

This 30,000-mile 1997 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet is finished in Paint to Sample Riviera Blue over Leather to Sample Provence Blue and fitted with a 6-speed transmission along with the 300 hp X51 power package, 18” “hollow-spoke” Technology Wheels, HI-Fi Sound, and so much more.

Over the last five years, the 993 C4 Cabriolet market has remained fairly strong, but still well below $100k. In fact, only one C4 Cabriolet has sold over $100k, a 21,000-mile example that sold for $120,000 in April 2022. And then along came this car, selling for $242,999, more than double our last high sale.

It’s a beautiful example finished in a one-of-a-kind color combination and a few rare options including a bump in power. But still, $242,999? Extremely well sold in a market that seemed to be softening up until today.
