The Bottom Of The 996 Market
Good Morning! Wow, we haven’t seen a weekend this light online in quite some time, not a single car over $100k in sight. It’s not every day a four-cylinder 914 makes our top 5 sales, but not to worry, there’s some action looming in the week ahead.

Yes, yes, I know I featured a 996 in last night’s Sunday Special edition but this one is on the total other end of the price spectrum as it sold over the weekend on Bring a Trailer for $25,250.
This 2003 911 Coupe 6-Speed is finished in Speed Yellow over Black partial leather and features Yellow seatbelts and Porsche Crests on the headrests in the interior. You’ll also find a Pioneer head unit with BOSE speakers, a trunk-mounted amp as well as other audio components on the inside.
On the outside, the car has 18” Carrera II wheels, xenon headlights, and a Sports Exhaust System. The paint looks clean enough for a 109,000-mile car and comes with a clean CARFAX although no paint meter readings are included in the listing.
The IMS bearing has been addressed with an LN Engineering kit and has an aftermarket K&N intake and aftermarket carbon fiber trim. Other modifications include Bilstein shocks and H&R Springs, and the car has been serviced in preparation for the sale.
Based on the mileage this little bumblebee is a bit light, but it’s not the lowest we’ve seen. At the end of the day, it looks like someone got a decent deal on a fun driver as there aren’t many other cars I’d rather have for $25k. Well-bought.
