Flippers Take Note. Over MSRP is No More
Just when you thought every seller of a delivery mileage 2022 911 had their hopes (and reserve) set on a sale over MSRP, we get one that had reasonable expectations for the market.
The 2022 911 Carrera 2 S above sold for $139,000 on PCARMARKET over the weekend amid comments that the car would never sell due to bidding not nearing MSRP fast enough. But the seller chimed in and stated that he wasn’t flipping for flipping’s sake but rather something else caught his eye while waiting, and waiting, for his 911 to come in.
With an MSRP of $143,810, the seller isn’t out too much money and saved themselves from further “normal” depreciation that’s bound to come as the market cools off. Well-sold on their part and well-bought by the buyer who saved a few dollars and quite the wait. Both parties can definitely be happy here.
