How To Make $35,000 On a GT3 RS

That car would be this particular 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS that sold yesterday for an above-market price of $175,000. At first, “above market” and “$175k” don’t make sense here as the moving average for 991.1 RS’ has been around $200k for the last year. But this example has the highest mileage out of any 997.1 GT3 RS trading hands in the past year with just over 23,000.

Still, that seems like a discount compared to $200k thanks to the mileage. But when you take into consideration the fact that a car with 10,000 fewer miles sold for $176,000 just a few weeks ago, now you see what we’re saying. Congrats to the seller for getting a bit more for their car in this market, well-sold 100%.

But, the fact that the seller purchased the car for $139,245 three years ago at about $15,000 below market, you my friend are what legends are made of. You drove a world-class GT car for 10,000 miles and got paid to do it. If we all could be so lucky.
