Strong Money For a PDK Carrera T
In 2017 Porsche launched the Carrera T as a sportier version of the base 911 Carrera featuring a shorter rear axle ratio, mechanical differential lock, PASM Sport lowered suspension, Sport Chrono package, and sports exhaust as standard. Top-of-the-market examples of the Carrera T typically have 6-speed transmission and special options you couldn’t find on any other standard 911 model: rear seat deletion, bucket seats, and rear axle steering. Not this example.
This 9,000-mile 2019 Carrera T in GT Silver Metallic is equipped for luxury touring with a PDK transmission, adaptive sport seats plus instead of buckets, and rear seats, and is void of the rear axle steering system. Not only is this the first 911 Carrera T equipped with a PDK transmission to sell in over a year, but it also sold for a very strong price of $98,000.
Over the past year, your typical 991 Carrera T equipped with a manual transmission sold for over $100,000, with examples having a few of the special options mentioned above bringing more money than those not. So for a PDK car void of any of the desirable options to come close to the floor is fairly surprising. Especially since all of the PDK no-sales topped out at $92,000.
Maybe it was the fact that only 89 Carrera Ts were equipped with PDK for this final model year, or someone really really wanted that Sport-Tex interior on their rear seats and the standard T goodies as they could have saved about $20,000 by purchasing a normal 991 Carrera. Either way, this car was definitely well-sold in our opinion.
