UK & EU CGT MKT
Yes, we’ve written about the fall of the Carrera GT market in recent weeks and we’ve written about the difference in the Porsche market over in the UK and EU. But today we’re going to write about the Carrera GT market in the UK and EU as we have yet another unsold CGT.
The car pictured above, a 2004 Carrera GT finished in a rarer shade of Seal Gray over Ascot Brown/Black, comes with a full luggage set, extensive service history (although no clutch measurement), and 18,000 miles.
Used but not abused, our Spotlight car reached a final bid of £1,121,500 after a few minutes of 500 lb-Stirling increments. In USD, that’s $1,354,211. In line with US cars failing to cross the $1.5m mark and UK Porsche’s generally falling a few hundred thousand dollars short of the American market. It’s going to take a very special car or a reality check for us to see another Carrera GT sell at auction in the coming months.
